Family Update

Deadstock Columbus is giving away free backpacks (while supplies last) on August 11th and 12th from 12:00-7:00 PM. They are located at 373 Stoneridge Ln, Gahanna, Oh 43230

We are excited to welcome our 6th graders and their families for the 6th Grade Open house on Tuesday, August 15th. If you attended schedule pick-up, please bring a copy of your schedule this evening!

The schedule for the evening is as follows:

6:00-6:10 - come into the building; pick up your schedule if you did not attend schedule pick-up

6:10 - parents drop students off at 1st period class and head to the auditorium

6:10 - 6:40 - students in classrooms; parents in auditorium for presentation

6:40 - staggered dismissal, parents will meet their students in the cafeteria

6:40 - 7:00 - time to explore the building, walk your schedule, etc...

We will be using lockers this year. Students will be assigned lockers on the first day of school. All Students will be assigned a locker and will NOT be permitted to carry their book bag with them. Students must provide their own lock. We will have some locks available to purchase for $5 at the front office. I would suggest using a combination lock versus one with a key.

All schedule changes need to be submitted by August 25th. If you would like a change to your student's schedule please contact the counselors. Ms. Boettner serves students last name (A-L), Ms. Verma serves students (M-Z)

A reminder that students may only use phones and earbuds before and after school, outside the building, but all must be turned off, removed, and put in the student’s locker before entry. During the day, cell phones must be off/put away. No devices will be allowed during class changes, lunch, recess, and bathroom breaks.
