Santa Fe Earns an A on State Report Card for 2023-2024
Just before the end of First Semester, the State Department of Education released the Oklahoma State Report Cards for each public school in Oklahoma. Just like last year, Edmond Santa Fe High School has once again earned an A on our State Report Card. A number of indicators go into the report card's makeup such as academic performance, attendance, postsecondary opportunities, and support for students new to learning English. As one of the only Class 6A high schools to receive an A, we are excited to celebrate the continuing excellence of our students. Thank you for supporting Edmond Santa Fe High School and for helping us to stand out in a positive way as an elite high school in Oklahoma!
Campus Reminders
- Before school, the doors to the building do not unlock for student access until 7:45am. Students dropped off prior to that time will need to wait in the lobby until 7:45.
- At lunch, only Juniors and Seniors are allowed to leave campus. On random check days, any students who cannot show their student IDs will not be allowed to leave campus.
- After school, students need to exit the building in a timely manner and leave campus.
- Students not riding a bus after school may not wait at the bus loop.
- Students waiting for rides after school may wait in the front Welcome Center lobby but should remain seated and respectful during that time.
- Once students leave campus after school, they should not return later in the afternoon or evening unless they are involved in a school activity or attending a school event.
- Students not involved in an after-school activity need to leave campus and may not remain on campus unless waiting in the front Welcome Center lobby for a ride.
- Student-athletes waiting for rides after practice may wait at the site of their practice locations (example: track athletes wait for rides at the fieldhouse).
STUDENTS NOT FOLLOWING THE ABOVE EXPECTATIONS WILL RECEIVE APPROPRIATE DISCIPLINE CONSEQUENCES
Media Center Information
Please look at the attached information if you would like to purchase t-shirts or sweatshirts from our Media Center.
Dress Code Expectations
Baseball hats, cowboy hats, wave caps, bandanas, stocking caps, and other headgear are not allowed as part of the daily dress code.
As it gets colder, please remember that while hoodies are okay to wear to school, the hood should not be worn in the hallways or classrooms. The hood part of the hoody covers up a student's ears and keeps a student with earbuds from being able to participate in learning. Classrooms are hoody, headgear, and earbud free zones.
It is a District Rule that cell phones are not allowed to be used during instructional time. A student should not be using a cell phone during class unless the teacher allows it as part of an instructional activity.

QuestBridge Scholars
Santa Fe HS is honored to have two students selected this year as QuestBridge Scholars.
QuestBridge is an incredibly competitive program. Out of over 25,500 applicants this year, 7,288 students were selected as National College Match Finalists based on their outstanding academic achievement and financial qualifications. Of those Finalists, 2,627 students were recognized as Match Scholarship Recipients.
Emorie Hayes will be receiving a full scholarship to Columbia University, and Alizeh Qazi will be receiving a full scholarship to Hamilton College. Congratulations to these students! Also, thank you to counselors Lisa Arsenault and Torie York for helping these students through the application process.
After-School Tutoring on Wednesdays
After School Tutoring will resume on Wednesdays starting January 15th in the Freshman Cafeteria. The first session is from 3:00-4:00 and the second session is from 4:00-5:00. Students who attend should plan to stay for the entire study session. Please sign up using the QR Code on the TV announcements in order to attend. That way, we can make sure to have an AP or NHS tutor working alongside students needing help.
