Director's Corner
Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
Congratulations to the following students who have earned Competency-Based Attendance:
Anson
Chief
Endina
Grace
Jamarion
Joshua
Kaleb
Keira
Lily S
Lucas
Sadie
These students do not need to check in as long as all their grades are above 70. Way to go! Please continue to check your student’s performance regularly.
This week’s goal for the remaining students is to have perfect attendance Monday through Thursday. If your student makes all their check-ins and scheduled times, they will earn a Friday Morning Check-In Pass. This pass will allow them to skip check-in on Friday Morning. We hope everyone earns this pass.
Ms. Whatley

DHS Pep Rally Friday
The Bell Schedule for Friday is linked here. Please notify your Check-In teacher by 9am if you want to attend the Pep Rally. Mrs. Whatley will notify DHS which DVA students will attend. If you do not let us know by 9am, you may not attend the Pep Rally.
Students at DVA by discipline may not attend the Pep Rally.
Parents, We Need Your Help With Device Care at Home!
Students will participate in device care lessons this week during WIN and Tools for Success. Students will review how to care for the device and the consequences outlined in the student and family Code of Conduct handbook for technology violations. Please review the presentation at home.
How can you support your child with taking care of their device?
Please review the lesson slides with students so you can reinforce expectations at home.
The device is a shared learning tool for academic purposes only. The device will be another student's device in the future - care for it!
Students return the device and charger at the end of the school year so help your child set routines and procedures at home to ensure that the device is returned at the end of the year without any family financial obligations to replace a damaged/lost device.
