Cliff's Notes
Dear Bedford Public Schools Community,
This week, thanks to the teamwork of our dedicated educators, partners, and students, two cherished traditions, and hopefully one new one, exemplified our values of community and inclusivity. Our Unified Basketball team's season is underway. Our 6th graders are currently on their way home from our annual Outdoor Classroom field trip as I write this (sunset last night pictured above) where they deepen friendships and learn new skills (like getting a sleeping bag packed back up!). And earlier this week, the junior class and Seniors4Seniors at BHS welcomed the Class of 1966 to share stories, learn from one another, and enjoy plenty of laughs (pictured below).
As we begin the FY28 budget process at the October 27 School Committee meeting, held at Hanscom Air Force Base in recognition of our partnership and Military Family Appreciation Month, I look forward to working together to make responsible financial decisions that sustain the programs, experiences, and sense of community that make our schools special.
Best,
Cliff Chuang 莊 宏 毅
