Parent teacher conferences are a great opportunity for you to learn about your child’s academic progress, work habits, and peer relationships. For fall conferences, we ask every parent to schedule a time with your child’s teacher during one of the allotted times.
Fall conferences are on Wednesday, October 22nd and Thursday, October 23rd. Again, this year we will be offering conferences both in person and on Zoom. Parents should sign up for a time with their preference using the Sign Up Genius below. Every effort should be made to schedule a conference during one of the offered times.
- In-person conferences will be offered on Wednesday, October 22nd from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, October 23rd from 1:40-8:00 PM
- Zoom conferences will be offered on Thursday, October 24th from 10:00 AM – 12:40 PM
Conferences are for parents and teachers. Please make prior arrangements for childcare.

At Good Shepherd, we celebrate positive choices with our RAM-Tastic Behavior Jar! Students earn stars in the classroom and around the building for showing respect, responsibility, and kindness. Once a star card is filled (15 stars), it’s placed in the office jar. At the end of each month, we draw winners who receive a special treat and prize.
Congratulations to our September winners! We’re so proud of all our students for showing great behavior every day.

Register your student(s) online with a PledgeStar account for electronic pledge payment as well as goal tracking. www.pledgestar.com/goodshepherd. You can also download a paper Pledge Sheet and turn in with payment to the office.
Our first important deadline is Monday, October 27th – every student who has raised a pledge of $35 by 10/27 will receive a HOMEWORK PASS!
Sponsorship deadline extension: We are extending the date from Friday, October 17, to Monday, October 20th, for the sponsorship deadline for Full Sponsor Benefits (inclusion of a logo on the back of the Dance-a-thon t-shirts). After Monday, October 20th all new sponsors will receive all benefits outside of the t-shirt logo recognition.

Volunteers Needed: We are also in need of parent volunteers throughout the week leading up to Dance-a-thon to help organize raffle tickets & decorate, and during the event to help man the concession stand and game stations. Halloween Parties, October 31st at 2:30 PM
- All parents are welcome to attend. Please sign in at the front office at 2:20 PM. We kindly ask parents to leave younger siblings at home during the parties.
- This is an out of uniform day. All regular dress down day rules will apply. No costumes, please.
- Please send in only store-bought food for snacks and treats, keeping in mind allergy information for your class. Your headroom parent has the allergy list.
