Desha's Law Training
As a reminder, ALL staff must complete the New York State mandated Desha's Law training by January 20, 2026. The training ensures compliance with state regulations and equips us to respond quickly and effectively in cardiac emergencies. The training takes approximately ten minutes to complete and can be accessed through Vector, which is linked below.
When accessing Vector:
- Use your SafeSchools Vector Training credentials to login.
- For most users, your login is your first initial followed by your last name (e.g. jdoe)
- If you share a computer, ensure you are logged in with your own credentials before starting the training. Double-check that the user ID on the screen matches your own.
- If you have any questions or need assistance accessing the training, please contact Dr. Corey Gray at cgray@ntschools.org.
Wellness Screening
The Wellness Initiative for Biometric Screenings for staff who are eligible runs through January 31, 2026. Those staff who are eligible (by contract; and participation in the District's health insurance plan) received an email from Patricia DiVirgilio which provides the Registration Key AND Unique ID. If you have questions, please contact Tricia at pdivirgilio@ntschools.org.
Tax Season
All staff will be mailed a paper copy of their W2 form for 2025.
Your W2 summarizes your earning, taxes withheld, and other deductions for the prior year and is needed to file federal, state, and local income taxes.
