One of the really cool things about the XXXXXXXXXX program, is that you can have a little exposure or a lot depending on your circumstances. Sometimes there just isn't enough room in your schedule for a full block program, don't worry. We get it! Here are some of the classes that are offered on a class-by-class basis.
Class Offerings:

Scheduling yourself in one (or a few) of these classes is ideal!
- It gives you a taste of what a longer CT block program offers without the larger time commitment.
- It introduces you to essential industry concepts so that you'll typically know if this field is something that interests you enough for future exploration.
- It introduces you to industry-based content without ever leaving your traditional high school.
- It allows students with a full schedule to explore real-world, career-technical content.
- It even gives you the opportunity to earn credits and credentials in some classes!

We like to think that our program sells itself through all the unique experiences and opportunities our students get in their two years at the Career Center. We go on field trips to visit (amazing place) and (this fabulous location.) Students gain experience with career exploration throughout their experience. Senior year students get the opportunity to participate in (apprenticeships, internships & early work placement). Some of these are even paid even though you're still considered a full-time student!
What is a typical XXXXXXXXXXXXX (insert CT lab) day like?
Juniors start the day with two & a half hours in the XXXXXX lab.

After CT lab is over, student either go to an academic course or lunch.
The rest of the day is spent in academics earning the classes they need to graduate.
We offer a wide variety of courses like. . .
Some students have the opportunity to earn college credits directly in their academics through CCP and AP classes.
Students who attend this program have access to additional career-related activities experiences.
Senior year, the CT lab times switch with juniors.

If students are where they need to be in our curriculum, many students participate in early job placement at places like. . .
Along those same lines, they are invited to participate in our career technical student organization called XXXXXXXXXXX.

Tell us about yourself, the CT teacher. I know this is something people can be reluctant to do, but I can speak first-hand that knowing something about the teacher matters. It actually matters a lot. In fact, my middle daughter dropped out of her CT program because she thought her teacher (not this school) was intimidating and unapproachable. Fast forward a year too late, she found that was not the case at all. Don't has this happen to you!
