ARBOR - MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM

As soon as this is rectified, we will be in touch with further details.

Many thanks for your patience.

ROAD SAFETY

We have been notified of some concerns by parents and carers to do with drop-offs and collection. Please take care, especially as the nights draw in and the mornings become darker.

As a school, we are taking part in Road Safety Week later in the term and we are also hoping to invite in some road safety experts to share their advice with the children. Here is some really useful support advice from the charity Brake which you may find helpful.

In addition, we have bought every pupil a reflective tag which they can attach to their coat or bag. We will distribute them as soon as they arrive.

SOCIAL MEDIA

We work hard in school to ensure that every pupil is safe. This includes e-safety.

All pupils receive extensive lessons about how to remain safe online. This is always discussed in age appropriate ways and centres around our Computing resource - Purple Mash.

It is always worth reminding you all that, as a primary school community, we educate children from 4 - 11. If you choose to allow your child to access tv, film or computer game content which is aimed at an older audience, they may choose to share that with us. We have a duty to ensure that children are safe, which includes emotionally. If they talk about the themes they watch and they are aimed at older audience, we will challenge this. It is our duty.

If you would like any support about having these discussions with your child please let us know and we are happy to support you. You may find this link useful. Use Parental Controls to Keep Your Child Safe | NSPCC

YOUR HELP WITH DROP-OFF

Do you drop your child off?

In order to support our very youngest pupils, we would ask that parents/ carers of pupils in Class 1 remain with them until collection from the playground at 8.55am.

Many thanks.
