Book sale and celebrations

Hi all,

If you've seen the other newsletters, you're aware that my book, Mr. Ford's Guide To The CompTIA Tech+ Certification, is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

It has performed very well and has been the top new release in Wireless Computer Networks and Personal Computer Books on multiple occasions. It has also been the top-selling CompTIA Tech+ book and has appeared in the top 30 for CompTIA certification books on multiple occasions.

This week only, I am offering the Kindle version for only $10. I would greatly appreciate it if folks would buy a copy and leave an honest review. https://a.co/d/0oSCZCy

I won't go into detail right now, but I want to invite everyone to either attend or watch the next board meeting. We have a very deserving student who is being acknowledged. 🥳

• When: 08/12/25 @ 7 pm
• Where: Humble ISD Board, Business and Technology Center, 20200 Eastway Village Dr., Humble
• Why: One of ours is being recognized

You can watch the live stream here: http://humbleisd.net/boardmeetinglive

I am already halfway through the next book, as of right now, it is titled Mr. Ford's Guide To The Absolute Basics of Cybersecurity.

It is just that, a very basic look at cybersecurity. Something to help anyone build a solid foundation in Cybersecurity.

I would like to thank everyone who attended our study groups at Panera Bread over the summer.

A very special thanks to Panera Bread for being awesome. Also, special thanks to Christy Ford and Marsha Appling-Nunez for leading the groups while I was off writing.

Don't forget the A+ exams 1101 and 1102 end on September 25, 2025. If you have taken and passed either the 1101 or 1102, you have a very short window to complete the other test to get your CompTIA A+ certification. If you have only passed one of the two exams and the exam is retired, you must start over from the beginning.

Finally, I want to wish all of you a wonderful school year. 🤓

Please feel free to share any successes with me, and I will be happy to share with everyone on our distribution list.

As Stan Lee used to say: Excelsior!
