Each year we are required to teach the diocesan Protecting God’s Children lesson. These lessons will take place during Religion class the week of November 17th.

Attached is an overview; and also an opt out form. Families can opt their children out of the lessons. Complete the form and return to your child’s teacher. During the lesson your child will come to the office. (you may also pick your child up if your prefer)

Here is more information from the diocese:

As caring adults, we have the great responsibility of ensuring the safety of children and youth. We must also give children and youth the tools they need to help us keep them safe by educating them regarding boundaries, safe and unsafe behaviors and healthy relationships.
The material is developmentally appropriate for each age group and includes content and activities that reinforce the message.

Did your kids collect WAY TOO MUCH Halloween candy? Or, did you buy a lot of candy but did not have enough trick-or-treaters visit your house?

Here’s an idea – donate your extra candy to our troops! Layla and Maryjane Miller are collecting candy to send to our brave soldiers, sailors, and Marines on deployment through a group called Soldier’s Angels.

Please bring your candy donations to the school office or send them to school with your child to be placed in the box labelled “Treats for Troops.” Candy will be collected from November 3 – November 14.

All students in 3rd-8th grade are invited to join this fun club. Friday's 4-7 pm Starting January 9, 2026. To sign up your child, you must complete the following by November 14th, 2025:
