🤗Thank you to any and all Black Bear families for helping us gather our stem materials!! We love our project based learning and we couldn't do it without your help! An Amazon wish list is in the works!

Math:

4th: Chapter 1 assessment

5th: Estimation and rounding

6th: Factor finding!

ELA:

• Creative writing practice!
• Goal setting brainstorms!
• Studied transition words and interjections and used them in our writing!

Culture Studies:

Created colonial brochures to study the 13 colonies.

Currency was introduced this week in survival and has put a creative twist on the game!

Art:

Created more gradient background art for our portfolios!

Music:

Students are learning how to read music and count beats!

Nature Connection:

Logs were cut to size for building our new wood shed and team building activities were played.

• We encourage families to sign up for 50 volunteer hours throughout the school year to get connected with the community and help carry out projects and participate in school events.
