Field Day Info and Volunteers Needed
Dear Families,
We want to say a special thank you to all the families who have donated to our Field Days and the Jingle Bell Jog. We are really looking forward to how it's all going to come together. We think it's going to be a lot of fun.
We also want to say a thank you from our families to all the parents and volunteers who made Eagle Fest happen. We (the PE team and our own children) had the best time. The time and effort you all put in does not go unnoticed.
As you know, Summitt Field Days are coming up. Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grades will have their Field Day on November 14. Students will rotate through stations starting at 8AM and will end right before lunch. Please make sure your student comes to school on time so they do not end up missing out on anything. After lunch, each grade level will come to the blacktop for a dance party/popsicle time. On this day, some of our 5th grade students will be given a chance to be a helper by either helping run stations or being a class helper that travels around with the kinder, 1st, or 2nd grade classes. These students will be asked to encourage, pump up, and play with the younger students. We will also be asking these helpers to help with the set up and tear down of all stations on both days.
On Friday, November 15th, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will have their Field Day. This will be an all day event where students rotate through a total of 17 stations. We will need the most parent support on this day to help run stations for the students. Please see the sign up below:

Please prepare your student for a day of fun outdoors. Students should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes that they can play and move in comfortably outdoors. Students can wear hats, sunglasses, or any other sun safety gear. Please make sure your student brings a water bottle to school so they can stay hydrated. They will have opportunities throughout the day to refill their water bottles.
