CANYON POINTE ELEMENTARY
Campus Mission: Whatever it takes to ensure high levels of learning for ALL students: Every Child, Every Day.
Welcome to Canyon Pointe Elementary !!!
Welcome to the Second Nine Weeks!
Our first nine weeks are officially complete, and we are excited to begin a new chapter of learning, growth, and success. Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to make every day a great day for our Wildcats. Let’s make the second nine weeks our best one yet!
Attendance Reminder
Regular attendance is an important part of student success. If your child is absent, please submit a doctor’s note or parent note within 3 days of your child’s return to school. Without documentation, the absence will remain unexcused.
- After 3 unexcused absences, the district will send an Excessive Absence Letter, as required by law.
- Notes may be emailed to our registrar, Luz Muston, at luzmuston@tomballisd.net.
- Please review our school dismissal procedures for the 2026-2027 school year
We are proud of the progress our Wildcats are making and grateful for the continued partnership of our families. Together, we are making Every Child, Every Day count!
Warm regards, Karina Avila
Principal

- Lunch visits are limited to twice per week.
- Visitors should remain only during their child’s 30-minute lunch period.
- Due to space limitations, parents will use the designated tables on the stage.
- Up to two visitors per student are allowed.

- Visitors must bring a driver’s license to check in and must be listed as an emergency contact.
Thank you for helping us make lunch visits enjoyable for everyone!
Celebrating Student Birthdays
Our students are extremely important to us, and we want them to feel celebrated! To ensure the safety of all students, birthday treats must be store-bought and sealed in the original packaging. Individually packaged or wrapped treats from the store are preferred.
