A Note from The Principal A Note from The Principal

We've had an exciting first few weeks of school! Thank you for being a part of our community. You have many choices and we appreciate you for choosing CES!

We celebrated Safety Week. This means that all students and staff practiced drills for a Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate and Shelter in Place. We use the Standard Response Protocol from the i love u guys Foundation. Click on the link for more information. Please have age-appropriate conversations at home about safety. Remembering to stay calm and managing an emergency such as a fire or tornado is a life-skill.

Speaking of safety, I want to remind parents to pick up students in the far right lane along the school. The left lane if for passing/exiting once you have picked up your student. Do not stop in the left lane or park and call out to your student. Sudents who get picked up this way, weave through traffic, which causes a safety issue. Be patient. Car riders need to wait on the right side. Parents who park need to walk all the way to the teacher to pick up. Thank you to all of our parents who are patient and watchful each day. It is not going unnoticed.

Thank you for bringing your child to school every day, supporting the teachers, and advocating for our students and community. Please continue to share updated addresses and phone numbers with us as well as plans for next year. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at georgie.arenaz@pfisd.net.

Thank you,

Georgie Arenaz, Proud CES Principal

Gracias

Gracias

Georgie Arenaz
