A Note from Mrs. Mathe
It was a busy week on campus, and an amazing one at that!
On Tuesday evening, our Campus Enrichment Committee hosted a wonderful Cultural Diversity Celebration Night. It was a special opportunity to celebrate the many beautiful cultures that come together each day at Hines. This meshing of cultures is one of the many things that makes our campus such an inclusive and welcoming place where students can learn about others and feel accepted for who they are.
On Thursday, we had the pleasure of celebrating our incredible volunteers at our “Berry Sweet” breakfast. We are so grateful for all that you do to support our campus and our students throughout the year. We truly couldn’t do it without you!
Also on Thursday, our 4th graders showcased their talents at their fine arts program. As a special way to wrap up their elementary years, families enjoyed a display of student artwork, musical performances filled with fun and meaningful songs, and an energetic Drumfit presentation highlighting their athletic skills. A big thank you to our specials team for coming together to provide such a memorable experience and for helping our students shine!

Student Spotlight
Student Spotlight is a dedicated section in The Hines Herald that celebrates the amazing achievements, acts of kindness, talents, and positive contributions of our Huskies both inside and outside of school.
This space recognizes students who are reaching personal goals, excelling in academics, athletics, or the arts, serving others, or making a meaningful difference in our community. Our students are accomplishing incredible things, and Student Spotlight is one way we proudly share and celebrate those moments.
We encourage families to submit their child’s accomplishments so we can continue highlighting and honoring the many ways our Huskies shine. We look forward to featuring more of these inspiring stories!
Student Spotlight- Emilia Boss
Emilia’s softball team made it all the way to the championship game in their end-of-season tournament! They finished in 2nd place and even brought home a special trophy ring. What an amazing accomplishment in her very first softball season—way to go, Emilia!
