Practice is critical to the success of our teams. At this time, coaches are conducting try-outs to determine final team placement.

• Spanish Storytelling (2nd/3rd) will practice Tuesday mornings at 7:15 in room # 206.

• Chess Puzzles (2nd-5th) will practice Tuesday mornings at 7:15 in room # 407.
  

• Creative Writing (2nd) will practice Tuesday mornings at 7:15 in the Art Room.
  

• Ready Writing (3rd-5th) will be practice Tuesday mornings at 7:15 in room # 408.

• Storytelling (2nd/3rd) will practice Wednesday mornings at 7:15 in room # 212.
  

• Number Sense (4th/5th) will be practice Wednesday mornings at 7:15 in the Science Lab.
• Oral Reading (4th/5th) will practice Friday mornings at 7:15 in room # 411.

We want to send a huge shout out to all the students who were a part of the Crazy 8s Club! Our club wrapped up before Thanksgiving break with a fun day of Toilet Paper Olympics. Thank you to the many teachers who made this club possible for our students: Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Swaney, Mrs, Zavala, Mrs. Fortune, Ms. VanPelt, Ms. Hairgrove, Mrs. S. Rhoades, Ms. Greer, and Ms. Garza. A special shout out to Mrs. Magness and Mrs. Castle for bringing this opportunity to Hood-Case for our students.

Thank you all so much for your support with Penny Wars! The winner is...FIRST GRADE! The entire grade level was treated to an ice cream truck! Congratulations!
