Principal's Update
Dear Ridgeview United Families,
It’s hard to believe we are already entering Week 5 of the school year! The energy in our classrooms is strong, and it’s been amazing to see how quickly students have settled into routines, built relationships, and engaged in meaningful learning.
By now, our school community is really finding its rhythm. Teachers are diving deeper into instruction, students are showing more confidence and independence, and our shared expectations are becoming second nature. These early weeks are so important for building the habits that lead to a successful year—and we’re proud of the progress we’re seeing.
As we move forward, our focus remains on consistency, connection, and growth. You may start hearing more about academic goals, assessments, and ways you can support learning at home. We encourage open communication, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or ideas.
Thank you for your continued partnership. Together, we’re laying the foundation for a strong and successful year!
Warm regards,
Principal Garrett

Building Parent Capacity
Effective parent-teacher communication is critical for the success of middle school students. By cultivating a strong alliance between parents and teachers, we can all create an environment that bolsters the academic, social, and emotional growth of our children. This article explains how that is possible.
