Message from Mrs. Schneid
What a Great Spirit Week!
Thank you to all the students who participated in our daily Spirit Week themes—we had so much fun seeing everyone’s creativity and enthusiasm each day!
Today was an amazing day from start to finish. We kicked things off with our Epic One Book, One School Reveal Assembly! Mrs. Rump and her team did a fantastic job getting everyone excited about this year’s book. Each student received their own copy to take home, and we can’t wait to start reading together throughout the month of November. Keep an eye out for family engagement opportunities and ways your child can win fun prizes as we dive into the story!
We also enjoyed a Fall Fun Day in our classrooms. Students were full of excitement, ready for trick-or-treating, and proudly showed off their amazing costumes during our school-wide parade. We were so glad the weather cooperated!
As always, thank you for your continued support. Have a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday as we kick off the month of November!
As a reminder, one of our building goals this year is to reduce chronic absenteeism. When students attend school regularly and are healthy, they make stronger academic progress, build positive relationships with peers, and stay connected to their school community. We appreciate your continued support in helping our Titans attend every day and on time!
Warmly,
Mrs. Schneid
Ms. Frimel
Mr. Carnabuci
BPE's One Book, One School was revealed today at an all school assembly!
Inspired by a true story, The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate tells the heartwarming tale of Ivan, a gentle gorilla who lives in a shopping mall with his animal friends. Ivan spends his days painting and watching people pass by—until a baby elephant named Ruby arrives and changes everything. Through friendship, courage, and creativity, Ivan discovers the power of hope and what it truly means to be free.
Our One Book, One School adventure begins this November as all students read The One and Only Ivan together at school. Click on the image above to find fun activities your family can enjoy at home while following along with Ivan’s story.
Be sure to send pictures or completed activities to Mrs. Rump (crump@bereaschools.org) or return them to your classroom teacher. Students who participate in the at-home activities will earn more books to read at home!
Reminder at Drop Off in the back with cars
All Families That Drop Off in the AM for School
Please READ- very important reminders that we ask you to read carefully and share with any family members that drop off by car in the back of BPE.
- IF your student is going in for breakfast, they may get out and go in at 8:35.
- IF your student is NOT going in for breakfast, they can not get to line up till 8:40 when we have staff on duty. This is very important for the safety of our students.
- PLEASE be sure to pull all the way up the the LAST staff member. We need as many cars as we can get on the curb so that students are getting in efficiently and on time for school. Even when it is cold or raining- we must pull you up!
- PLEASE do not cut in front of cars in line OR zip out of line and avoid the traffic flow that follows the loop 9:00 AM there will NOT be staff outside and your student must be taken to the front and walked in by you to sign them in. They are considered tardy at that time.

Families are asked and encouraged to complete the Income Eligibility Verification Application to access additional benefits, including increased state and federal funding for staff, equipment, and supplies; discounts on fees for academic assessments; and access to local scholarships, tuition assistance for dual credit and AP courses, and discounts on college application fees. By completing the application, you help the district continue to provide valuable resources and opportunities for every student.
Online Payments
Online payment is our preferred method for parents and guardians to pay for school fees, cafeteria payments, and more.
The Infinite Campus Online Payment system is a payment processing
solution that allows you to submit food service and school-related fees 24/7
via the Parent Portal. Payments can be made for one child or the entire
household.
The Fees tool provides a list of all fees assigned to you. Fees may include things like a lab fee for a science course, a fee for a field trip or the cost of an athletic activity. Fees that are still owed and fees that were paid appear in this list, followed by the ongoing balance for all fees.
