Squirrel!

The Richesin family shared the baby squirrels they are fostering with our Kindergarten and 1st grade classes. It was a great end to our project with the book, Gooseberry Park. We even wondered if they should name their little rescues, Top and Bottom!

A Bug's World

Mrs. Sexton's 1st grade class did research about insects. They found facts about insects and then turned the facts into an informational paragraph. They also investigated preserved insects with magnifying glasses and then drew and labeled a diagram of the insect. They then created a poster to display their work.
