ONE SCHOOL ONE BOOK
Great work this week Webster Wildcats with our One School, One Book Reading Program! Every family should continue to read their copy of Malcolm At Midnight at home. You can follow along on Malcolm’s Reading Map as to which chapters you should be reading.
This coming Monday, May 6th, our entire school will read Chapter 16 TOGETHER with the help of our special guest reader, Mr. Clark! Malcolm will also have a special treat for each student!
Also beginning next week, listen for additional guest readers as we have many 5th grade students who have volunteered to be a guest reader. Listen for their voices beginning with Chapter 17. Remember, you can listen to the recorded chapters on the WUSD Website under Webster School looking for the button that reads “One School, One Book”. For next week, we are reading Chapters 16 – 19.
Students should also complete Malcolm’s Memories – a trivia game – where students can win prizes! The trivia questions open every Tuesday and close at 3 pm the following Monday. Each week there will be a new set of trivia questions. Keep up the fantastic reading Webster Wildcats!

THANK YOU TEACHERS
Dear Families,
We are proud to take some time to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week in the Watertown Unified School District!
This week, which takes place May 6-10, helps raise awareness and recognition for the hard work, dedication, and achievements of teachers in our community, across the state, and nationwide.
Teaching is a challenging and demanding profession, requiring patience, dedication, and a deep commitment to students' growth and wellbeing. Teachers serve all students, no matter their background, socioeconomic status, or ability. They show up each day with enthusiasm, passion, and a deep commitment to helping our students succeed.
Through their efforts, teachers make our schools places of hope and joy—and they make our community and our world a better place.
Join us in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week by taking a moment to thank a teacher who has made a positive impact on your life or the life of your child. Write a heartfelt note, send an email, or make a post on social media expressing your gratitude. Consider writing a letter to the editor in your local newspaper.
Let’s all make sure our teachers know just how much we value and appreciate all they do—this week and every week!
As always, thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Mr. Clark
Webster Principal
