PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

What a week we have had at Falcon Creek!!

Fall Spirit Week kicked off on Monday with “Jersey Day.” Then “Toes Out Tuesday” and Twin Day on Wednesday. Thursday was “Fall Colors Day” and also the Fall Dance. And Friday we wrapped up the week with “Pajama Day.” It was fun to see so many kids participating in spirit week and showing their school pride. It was also great to see so many students at the Fall Dance. There was a lot of music, dancing, snacks, crafts, photos, and smiling…a LOT of smiling! It was a good time!

On Friday we also celebrated our grade level winners for the fall fundraiser. The 6th grade class raised the most money for the cause and the students enjoyed a “dirty soda” during lunch as a special reward.

A few reminders for the next couple of weeks, we have the Book Fair November 2 - 5, no school for students on November 6 and our Veteran’s Day Celebration on November 12.

Have a great weekend and don’t forget to turn those clocks back!

Take Care,

Lara Kibbee

Principal

Meet Mr. Rich .Blankman

By Fatima Haider and Lydia Diaz

Mr. Blankman started teaching in 1999 so he has been teaching for about 27 years. He went to the University of Northern Colorado and University of Phoenix. He used to teach at Endeavor Academy, a high school in our district but he missed middle school students and needed a change. He enjoys helping others improve their situation and that is why he is a teacher. Mr. Blankman gets motivated everyday because he believes that everyone can grow as learners and people.

Mr. Blankman’s favorite things to do outside of school is to spend quality time with family and to play tennis. His favorite way to de-stress is his time with his wife in Breckenridge, Colorado.

His dream vacation is going to an all-inclusive beach resort. His hero is his grandfather, Bob. If Mr. Blankman was the President of the United States, he would endorse and set expectations for respectful and intelligent discourse among Americans and our political leaders.
