The Muraski Tribune: Issue 31

Important Dates and Information for the 23-24 School Year

The MuraskiTribune: Issue 31Important Dates and Information for the 23-24 SchoolYear

UPDATE FROM THE PRINCIPALS UPDATE FROM THE PRINCIPALS

Good Morning Muraski Families,

Although there was a chill in the air this weekend, the CAVS were heating up. I love when a Cleveland team is in the playoffs, as it brings so much more excitement and fun to the area. Just like the Cavs were turning up the temperature, we are, too, at Muraski. We are in the middle of testing, with some ELA, all of math, and Science left. Our primary grades are going through their benchmark assessments. Learning continues, with fun and exciting lessons taking place in our classrooms. In addition, we continue to focus on student behavior and expectations through our Muraski Madness campaign. As the end final five weeks of school are upon us, please continue to support our school by reminding your children of expected behavior at the school. This time of year, with so many things going on, in addition to the weather warming up, our students sometimes forget what is expected. We will continue to work to create a positive environment for all students. It is very helpful to have you all supporting that message at home.

Let's have a great week!

Sincerely,

Mike Griffen

School Fees

As a reminder, all school fees that have not been paid are now considered past due. To check the balance and pay outstanding school fees, go to Pay Schools Central by clicking HERE. In addition to Pay Schools Central, school fees can be paid by cash/check to your student’s building secretary or with the Treasurer's Office. If you have questions related to this, please contact the building secretary or Dawn Evangelista (devangelista@scsmustangs.org) within the Treasurer's Department. As we are approaching a new school year, as well as the start of fall sports, per Board of Education policy, the consequences for outstanding prior year school fees will prohibit students from participating in any school extracurricular activities (i.e., athletics, student council, school clubs, etc.), field trips, and school sanctioned dances / events that require a purchased ticket. For additional information on District Fee Collection Procedures and Consequences CLICK HERE.

Support the Use of School Tech at Home: Blocksi

Over the summer, the district expanded our partnership with Blocksi to include student content filtering and alerts. We no longer utilize SecURLy for these services.
