Winter Sports
Winter Sports Schedules are now available (Click the link below)
Wrestling will have an information meeting on November 12 following dismissal.
FCS - Pasta Lab
7th and 8th grade FCS students learned to make pasta with either homemade Alfredo or tomato sauce this week.
Reading
Students in Academic Literacy courses are engaging with a range of district-supported resources, including Sonday, the 95% Group Blueprint for Comprehension, iReady, and/or Read Naturally Live. These tools are valuable in targeting specific skills and supporting the individual learning needs of each student.
Science with Mr. P
In Science with Mr. Prusinowski, students are exploring the concept of unbalanced forces and how they affect motion and stability. Through hands-on activities like playing Jenga, students can see these forces in action—each time a block is removed or stacked, the forces acting on the tower shift and can cause it to topple. This fun and engaging activity helps students visualize how motion occurs when forces are no longer balanced, bringing physics to life right in the classroom!
6th Grade ELA with Mr. Hontz
Mr. Hontz's 6th grade ELA class commenced the new marking period reading "Out of the Dust" and inquiring about the Great Depression as children and families had to be resilient for survival. The photograph of the "Migrant Mother" was also used for their Notice and Wonder chart facilitating great conversation of how fortunate they are today.
