Hello families,
We invite all parents and guardians to join us on Wednesday, September 16th for our Meet the Staff evening. It is great way to see the building and put a face to the name of our children's' teacher. The formal part will be short, the focus will be for you to meet and talk to your teachers, staff and directors.
We sent the Walk Around the Community Field Trip form and we ask that you print the last sheet, sign it, and return it before ASAP. You child will not be able to join us for mass on Wednesday if it is not returned in time. I attached it below if you need it again.
Volleyball tryouts start this week. Please make sure your child comes prepared to play if they are interested. We are excited to announce that we have enough interest to run junior volleyball teams for our grade 7 and 8 students. They will be starting later in October.
We strongly encourage our students to get involved and meet new people. If your child enjoys running, have them join the cross country team. No experience needed.
Open gym with Constable Frey starts this Wednesday and will be available every week for the remainder of the school year. It is a great way to meet some new people and get some exercise. To participate, we ask that your child arrive before 7:15am because, by then, Constable will be coordinating the session. The doors will not be open before 7am so your child will need to wait outside until a staff member arrives.
God Bless,
Kevin Myskiw
