Thanksgiving Food Drive Fundraiser
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we are excited to once again support our local community through our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! This year, we are collecting food donations to benefit GRACE, an amazing nonprofit organization that provides direct support to individuals and families in Summit and the surrounding communities. GRACE plays an important role in helping our neighbors facing food insecurity and other challenges, ensuring that local families have access to the resources they need.
We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with an organization that makes such a meaningful difference right here in our community. We encourage all families to participate by donating items based on the grade level your child is in. This will help ensure that we collect a diverse assortment of food and essential items to meet the needs of the families GRACE serves.
Donations can be dropped off at the school's main entrance each morning before school next week.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping us reinforce the importance of giving back, supporting our neighbors, and recognizing the impact we can make when we come together as a community. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!

Morning Parking Reminder
We would like to remind families that the parking spaces in the front lot are designated for staff members during the school day. Recently, we have noticed an increase in parents using these spaces during morning drop-off. We have a very limited number of parking spaces available for our teachers and staff, and we need to ensure that those spaces remain available for them as they arrive each morning. Please do not pull into or park in any staff-designated parking spaces during morning drop-off. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration as we work to ensure a smooth and safe arrival process for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Picture Retake
Picture retake day is scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd, for students who missed the previous two picture days. This is an important opportunity for all students to have their photos taken, even if they do not intend to order pictures, as every child is required to take a picture for their ID.
If your child will be retaking their pictures, kindly email Mrs. Capra at tcapra@summit.k12.nj.us with your child’s name so she can maintain an accurate list for the photographer. Additionally, please note that club photos will also be taken on this day, providing another chance for students to capture memorable moments with their peers.
