Dear Doyon Families,
Another wonderful week has come to a close at the Paul F. Doyon Memorial School. As the days grow brighter, we are grateful for your continued collaboration and support in making our school the very best place for learning. 🌷☀️
As a community, we would like to extend our congratulations to many of our upper elementary students for their efforts on the MCAS assessments. Our learners have been working hard to demonstrate all that they know, and we are so proud of their dedication. We would also like to offer a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Twomey, our outstanding MCAS Coordinator, for her leadership in ensuring a smooth and positive testing experience for all. 📚✨
We also extend our gratitude to the Ipswich YMCA for their care and partnership with our Kindergarten Team. Congratulations to our kindergarten swimmers for successfully completing their six-week swim lesson series. Well done! 🏊♀️💦
Looking ahead, FRIES and School Council will meet next Wednesday evening in the Doyon Library. Whether you attend one meeting or stay for both, we encourage you to get involved. We value the opportunity to connect with families and grow our school community together, especially as we begin planning for the end of the year. 🌼
As a reminder, next week is the final week before spring recess. We encourage families to check the Lost and Found, as items collected over the winter will be donated during the break. If you are searching for a specific item, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Members of our amazing Student Leadership Team (SLT) are continuing to do a wonderful job starting each day with C.A.R.E.S. reminders! Way to lead by example, SLT!
Join us in fighting food insecurity and donate to our Cereal Drive to help those in need. From April 6th-17th the Ipswich Family YMCA will be collecting cereal in donation boxes located in the front lobby of the school. Together, we can strengthen our community and help our neighbors fight food insecurity.
Another way to help: Wednesdays in the month of April, you can eat out at a participating restaurant and they will donate a portion of the proceeds to provide a family in need with a grocery gift card!

🎉Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Week (5/4-5/8) is approaching, and we would love your help in making it a fantastic week for our wonderful teachers!
We are planning to create a display for our teachers to show our appreciation! To make this a success, we invite students and families to color and fill out the above template. Then please fold it back up and either drop it at the office or place in their folders to be turned into FRIES.
