Assistant Principal's Message
I hope that everyone enjoyed the sunshine and had a great weekend! It’s a five day week packed full of great stuff. SOL reading testing kicks off for 4th/5th grade Tuesday and 3rd grade Wednesday. Please remember to have your student get a good night’s sleep and to have breakfast at home or for FREE at school. We also have the art show fundraiser on Wednesday evening from 5-7. Every student who attends Yowell will have a piece of their original artwork on display for purchase. Don’t worry if you can’t make it, just follow the link or QR code from the flyer above. On Friday, Yowell will be hosting our "Someone Special Dance." This event is for those that have preregistered and secured their spot at the event. Thank you all for your continued support and dedication to your Yowell student.

Rising 6th Grade Instrument Selection Night - Tuesday, May 13th @ 6:00 pm at CMS
CMS and FTB Bands will have their Rising 6th Grade Instrument Selection Night on Tuesday, May 13th at 6:00 pm in the CMS Cafeteria. We are inviting any student interested in band to attend, even if they did not select band on their schedule; they can still attend, and changes can be made. Please add this to your school calendar and the weekly robo-call messages so families are aware and can plan for it. Thank you very much!

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here. Also, this is the direct link to transportation.
Parents of students Pre-K through Grade 3 are expected to meet their children at the bus stop. Failure to do so will result in the child(ren) being returned to school. Should you choose to allow your child(ren) to be dropped off without supervision in the afternoon, please fill out and return this document.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
