👻 A Spooktacular Success! Thank You for a Great Haunted House!

Mahalo nui loa to everyone who helped make this year's Waikiki School Haunted House a phenomenal success! Seeing all of our families having such spooky, memorable fun truly made the event a highlight of the season.

This event was a perfect example of our community showcasing some incredible mindful habits:

  • Creativity and Striving for Accuracy shone through in the amazing decorations and the intricate design of the scares.

  • The spirit of Humor and Joy was evident in every laugh and smile, from the games to the frights.

  • Risk Taking was on full display—whether it was the students daring to frame the structure or our younger visitors bravely entering the spooky halls!

A huge thank you goes to our fantastic fifth graders and their teachers, Mr. Lawrence and Mr. Marvel, for their hard work in framing the house this year!

We are also incredibly grateful to all of our dedicated staff and teachers who volunteered their time and talent decorating and manning the games and attractions. Your commitment made the atmosphere unforgettable!

Finally, a massive shout-out to VP Whitney Mahoney for her expert planning and coordination—the smooth operation of the event is a testament to her skill! And to all of our volunteers who helped with the cleanup: Mahalo! We were done in record time, which is a fantastic feat!

Your support makes our school community so special.

🏐 Spike-tacular Success at the Kalani Complex Volleyball Tournament!

This past Sunday was a thrilling day of action at the Kalani Complex Elementary Volleyball tournament! Our young athletes on both the girls and boys teams showed incredible spirit, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

They truly persevered through tough, fun, and competitive matches against strong teams from Wilson, Kahala, and Liholiho Elementary. We are so proud of the grit and hustle they displayed on the court!

A massive mahalo (thank you) to our dedicated volunteer coaches, John Holaday and Carly Cuddeford, for giving their time, expertise, and energy to get our students ready for the season. Your commitment made all the difference!

We look forward to seeing the continued growth of our student-athletes!
