October CTE Update: Learn, Grow & Recharge ๐
Our CTE students are settling into their pathways and beginning to put what theyโre learning into practice. Each lesson, project, and conversation is a chance to build skills and explore career interests.
October also brings Fall Breakโa chance to rest, recharge, and return ready to keep growing. Before the break, we encourage students to check in with their CTE teachers, stay on track with coursework, and explore opportunities beyond the classroom.
๐ Enjoy Fall Break, and letโs make October a month of discovery and growth!
๐ Get Involved in Your CTSO
October is a great time to explore ways to connect with your CTE pathway beyond the classroom. Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) help students build leadership skills, meet peers with similar interests, and gain career-related experience through activities and competitions.
Depending on their pathway, students may have opportunities to participate in:
HOSAโFuture Health Professionals
FBLAโFuture Business Leaders of America
SkillsUSA
Interested in joining? Reach out to your CTE teacher to learn which CTSO supports your pathway and how to get involved.

Ms. Rachal has stepped up to the plate this year in a big way! She has taken on extra courses and expanded her pathwayโs curriculum, giving students more opportunities to practice industry-related tasks and build career skills.
Sheโs also always willing to lend a hand with technology issuesโoften saving us from submitting that dreaded help ticket! ๐
Thank you, Ms. Rachal, for all you do to support our students and team!
