Dear Penn Wood Families,

No tricks, just treats!! We are already halfway through October! The air is starting to turn chilly, and sweatshirts are beginning to make their way to lost and found in the cafeteria!! (Please remember to label your kiddo's gear so they can easily find it!)

Last week, we wrapped up our Fall FUNdraiser, and we are thrilled to announce that we reached our goal! But shh - don't tell the students. They will get to celebrate this Friday during school at our Fall FUNdraiser Dance Party. Thank you, Penn Wood, for your incredible support. Your generosity helps ensure that our students continue to enjoy meaningful, enriching, and memorable experiences throughout the school year.

One of those exciting experiences is just around the corner: one of Penn Wood's most beloved traditions, Prized Pumpkin! There are six categories this year!

• Most Creative
• Best Character
• Spookiest
• Best Penn Wood Spirit
• Best Team Spirit
• *NEW* Category --- Carve Only (No paint, glitter, or accessories -- just your best carving skills!) The fun is from 5:30 - 7 p.m. on October 23! Let us know you are coming! (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508094EA5AE22ABF85-66678831-penn)

Consider joining us for tonight's Home & School meeting at 6 p.m. in the library. We are heading into a busy time of year for learning and fun. If there is inclement (or chilly) weather and lunch will not be held outside, you will be notified by Kelly Nolan. You can also reach out to her with any questions at kellypurvis@gmail.com or via phone or text at 215-620-6135. You will receive an email from Kelly Nolan with instructions once you sign up for Outdoor Lunch.
