Redmen Review

It was a short but action-packed week at Sisseton High! The student council sponsored dress up days including a jersey day on Monday that Deyson, Owen, and Carson (top) took advantage of to show support for their favorite team.

On Wednesday, students and staff enjoyed a day-long game of rock-paper-scissors using necklaces to show winners. Pictured below are Ty and Nikki competing--Nikki came out the champion--for the most necklaces at lunch and Mrs. Goodhart tallying up some possible Rock-Paper-Scissors Champions.

Champions are as follows: Quinn Hanson (9th), Stella Rice (10th), Cash Gamber (11th),
Nikki Hoeger (12th), Dan Paguio (staff).

Next week Mrs. Filipek, along with Mrs. Hilpert will be going into English classrooms to talk to students about graduation requirements, course opportunities, and to help them register for classes for next year. Monday will be focused on the Juniors, Tuesday and Wednesday for the Sophomores, and Thursday for the Freshman.

Students from SHS, accompanied by those from Britton-Hecla, Rosholt, Summit, Waverly-South Shore and Waubay joined forces on Tuesday to put together a great concert as part of the Whestone Choral Festival. Under the direction of Robert Michalsheck, the 5-12 choir teacher in Dell Rapids, students worked hard throughout the day to polish eight different pieces, before performing for the public Tuesday evening.
