  • The shows would be structured similarly to the regular 4-H shows, where Clover kids will show the animals in front of the judge, walk in the ring, and practice their showmanship skills for the species that they are showing. However, per 4-H policy, the Clover kids show would be non-competitive. Each participant would receive a Clover kids ribbon and a show shirt for participating.

  • The show will be broken down in the ring by species with 5 Clover kids in the ring per class. 5 older youth volunteers (per 4-H policy) comfortable with the species, one adult ring man, and the judge will also be present in the ring. The youth volunteers will not be on the end of the lead rope, but will be present in case the animal needs to be handed off.
