Haslett Robotics Club 2025-26 Wrap-Up & Round-Up!
It’s been another extraordinary season for Haslett Robotics Club (HRC) — and the numbers speak for themselves. Across our VEX IQ, V5, and Drone programs, our student teams dominated the competition floor, racked up awards, and earned their place on the biggest stages in competitive robotics.
A Season to Remember
This season, HRC fielded teams across VEX IQ (elementary and middle school), V5 (high school), and our drone program — and the results were nothing short of remarkable. Our teams collectively earned 48 awards across the season, including 5 Excellence Awards — the highest all-around honor a team can receive at a VEX tournament, recognizing not just robot performance but design, strategy, teamwork, documentation, and professionalism. Add to that 11 Tournament Championship Awards, and it becomes clear: this wasn’t luck. This is a program built on skill, dedication, and an incredible group of young engineers.
When it came time for the Michigan State Championship, HRC showed up in force. Twelve of our IQ teams qualified and competed, three of our V5 teams earned their spot at states, and All three drone teams qualified for their Regional Championship!! What a stellar accomplishment across the board! And finally, three of our VEX IQ teams qualified to compete at the World Robotics Championship!! WOW!
