Week at a Glance

Eastridge Edition Week at a Glance

Our story begins at Eastridge!

We are so excited to welcome our Grandparents/ Loved Ones for lunch on Friday. Please be sure to pre-register before Wednesday to ensure a pre-printed badge. We will be utilizing our weapons detection system for this event so please arrive early to ensure time to pass through before coming in. We can't wait to see everyone!

Our Big Kahuna Fundraiser is still going on! Please help support the campus with this amazing fundraiser.

We will begin iReady testing in grades K-5 this week and next. Students will be taking a beginning of the year diagnostic in both reading and math to help guide instruction throughout the year. Please be sure to have your student get a good nights sleep and breakfast to help them prepare to do their best!

Enjoy your Monday off!

We encourage you to fill out the form by scanning the QR code or clicking the picture above for each student the loved one will be visiting and then have them come to campus prior to September 3rd, during our office hours of 7:45-3:40 to have their drivers license scanned. We will have printed badges ready to go for all loved ones that have signed up and had their drivers license scanned ahead of time. Loved ones that do not preregister and have their drivers license pre-scanned will need to wait in line the day of the lunch to have their license scanned at that time. We will be utilizing our Weapons Detection system for this event so please arrive early to pass through. In order to eat with a student the grandparent/ loved one must be listed as an emergency contact on the student's Skyward list.

Cell Phones

Please begin discussing this new state law with students before school begins. This includes airpods and watches that are connected to a cellular device.

Early Sign Outs

We understand there are times when you need to pick up your child early from school. We do encourage you to make appointments during after school hours, but we know there are times when that cannot be done. In the event you need to pick up your child early please do so by 2:30. You will sign your student out in the front office. Picking your child up early will result in an early sign out and it goes against your attendance.

After 3:05 - if you are needing to walk up to pick up your child - we ask that you wait until 3:15. Students will not be released until 3:15 from the office. Thank you for understanding safety is top priority and dismissal time is a busy time for the front office ensuring the safety!

If you need to change your child's mode of transportation, please call the office no later than 2:00 PM. We need time to communicate to the teacher the change in transportation. We appreciate your help with this matter as we want to ensure your child goes home the correct way. Safety is our priority!

Visiting the Campus

In order to enter the office area all parents must have a state or federally-issued ID (we will not accept pictures). You will scan that ID at the kiosk computer outside the office door. Once you've finished all of the prompts, the front office staff will open the door to enter the office. If you do not have a state or federally-issued ID we will not be able to allow you to enter the campus doors. This is to ensure the safety of all of our students, thank you for your understanding.

Forgotten Items

If your child forgets something they need for school you will be able to drop the item off in the vestibule of the school. We will have a table to put the item on. Please label the item with a tag provided. We will check the table throughout the day and make deliveries as necessary. Please do not come into the office to drop off items.
