News & Information for Tiger Families
Letter from the Principal
Dear Tiger Families,
What a wonderful and prayerful week it has been! We are wrapping up Red Ribbon Week today by shining bright in our neon colors—because we are too bright for bad choices!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Living Rosary. This is truly one of my favorite traditions at St. Teresa, as our entire school community comes together, united in prayer.
We’re also excited to share that we have adjusted our Preschool–3rd Grade schedule to allow our younger students the opportunity to have PE twice a week! We know there may be a small adjustment period, but we’re thrilled to see our students staying active and moving. Please note that the Computer Class on Mondays has been replaced with PE.
We hope to see many of you during Parent-Teacher Conferences, taking place:
📅 Tonight, Thursday, October 23rd 4:00–8:00 PM
📅 Tomorrow, Friday, October 24th, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Last week, our students participated in server training with Mrs. Jouglard. If your child is interested in becoming an altar server, please return the information sheet to school by Monday. If you need a copy, you can find an attachment further down in the Tiger News. It is always wonderful to see our students serving at Mass and giving back to our parish community.
Looking ahead—there are some fun events coming up!
🎃 Sunday, October 26th: PTO’s Trunk or Treat for St. Teresa families, 3:30–5:30 PM in the school parking lot.
👻 Thursday, October 30th: Our Annual Halloween Parade begins at 1:45 PM. If you’re feeling brave, park in the church lot and join us for a ghoulishly good time!
Costume Guidelines:
-
PreK–4th Grade may wear costumes to school.
-
5th–8th Grade may bring costumes to change into.
-
All students may instead choose to wear a black and/or orange top with their uniform bottom.
-
Please remember:
-
No masks
-
No weapons (real or pretend)
-
No fake blood
-
Costumes must be school-appropriate, non-scary, and not offensive
We can’t wait to celebrate all the fun ahead while continuing to learn, pray, and grow together as a school family.
As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership. TIGERS LEAD THE WAY!
Sincerely,
Nicole Green
Principal
