Parents Group Update: Exciting Times Ahead!
We are pleased to inform you that the Parents Group Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place yesterday, 17th October, and a new Parents Group Committee has been elected. Congratulations to all the new committee members!
The next Parents Group meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 7th November, at 1:45 p.m. If there are more than ten parents present, there will be a Homework Pass for everyone in the school. If ever there was an excuse to come along, this is it!
The Parents Group has some wonderful events lined up for the school year, including:
- Hallowe’en Dress Up Day
- School Disco
- Christmas Raffle
- World Book Day Book Exchange Sale
- Communion Breakfast Party
In addition, they will be setting up a Suggestion Box for both pupils and parents, which will be opened at the next meeting. The box will be located at the main entrance—so don’t miss the chance to share your ideas!
We’re also excited to share that the Parents Group has generously donated over €350 to support the purchase of IT equipment for our pupils. Future projects will focus on completing the school stage, adding murals, painting in the school yard, and possibly introducing after-school activities for the students.
Remember, you can make a difference! Come along to the next meeting and see how you can get involved.
