Happy September! 🌟 This month is filled with exciting events and opportunities, including welcoming parents/guardians to lunch, fall pictures, Donuts with Dear Ones, Family Bingo Night, and so much more!

📌 Attendance Reminder:

Our school day begins promptly at 7:50 AM, and consistent attendance is key to student success—every day counts! To support timely arrivals:

• Parents/guardians dropping off students after 7:50 AM will receive a Parent Tardy—a friendly reminder of our start time.

• Students arriving at 8:05 AM or later must be signed in by a parent/guardian at the front office.

We appreciate your partnership in helping us create a smooth, on-time start to the day for all students. ✨ Details about this month’s events are included below. The Corpus Christi Independent School District Food Services department is offering free breakfast and lunch for the 2025-2026 school year.

CCISD food services department has a new app for à la carte items they are offering this school year. We are thrilled to announce that Smith Elementary will be offering childcare for CCISD employees! Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open.

If you need childcare for a child between 6 weeks and 3 years old (turning 3 after September 1st), please complete the application and select your preferred location.

We’re excited to support our CCISD families with this opportunity!
