    Employability Skills

"In today's competitive job market, employability skills are just as critical as technical expertise. Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs must emphasize key skills such as time management, teamwork, and communication to prepare students for workplace success. The federal Employability Skills Framework organizes these skills into three areas: applied knowledge, effective relationships, and workplace skills. CTE teachers can integrate these skills into their curriculum through classroom activities, collaboration with industry professionals, and modeling professional behavior. NOCTI assessments play a valuable role in validating these competencies, helping students showcase their readiness and thrive in their careers."
