Picture Day is coming! Cavanaugh Photography will be coming to Maple This Tuesday, October 7th. The online ordering link is available NOW and will remain open for 48 hours after picture day. If you would prefer to pay by cash or check, print out this flyer and send in EXACT cash or check (made out to Cavanaugh Photography) in an envelope with your student on picture day.

The tip this week is about tracking absences. These tips can help your child STAY IN THE GAME!

Throughout the month of September, we have been focusing on the character traits of KINDNESS and RESPECT. On Monday we did our big reveal on announcements. Staff nominated students who worked really hard on these skills and then wrote specific reasons as to why they earned the nomination.

We are proud of our students! They took home their certificates on Monday. Then on Thursday, they celebrated their AWESOMENESS at a Bingo party.

For the month of October, we will be working on the character trait of RESPONSIBILITY. Please join us in teaching our children about this trait by showing them what responsibility looks like in your home.

Morning Yoga Club started on Thursday and the kids had an Amazing time! What a way to start the day! Parents, please remember that the club does not begin until 7:25 am. Some students are coming in the building prior to that because they are registered for morning care. Our yoga club students need to wait until 7:25 when our club teachers are here to supervise.

Sharing a fun community event hosted by Horizon Centers.

• What: Glow in the dark party in our gym with activities and music and trunk or treat outside

• When: October 29, 2025, 4:00- 5:30 pm

• Why: Come and experience firsthand what fantastic activities the Horizon Afterschool program provides the youth of North Olmsted and Fairview!

Kindness is EVERYWHERE! Proud of our students who have been earning Kindness Awards!

Many goals were reached this week! What I love most is watching classmates cheer on their peers for achieving their goal!

If you have updated your phone/email in Parent Square, that doesn't change your information in PowerSchool. This needs to be done by ALL families. We still have some emergency forms not updated. It is imperative that we have this completed for every child.
