Upcoming Meetings and Deadlines

Enrollment has opened, please be sure to re-enroll for the new 4-H year.

Auction Committee Meeting will be on January 8th at 7pm, in Room 108 at the Extension office.
The January Ambassador Meeting will be on January 11th at 6pm, in Room 108 at the Extension office.
The January Federation Meeting will be on January 11th at 7pm, in Room 108 at the Extension Office.
The next PDC meeting will be on January 15th at 7pm, in Room 108 at the Extension Office.
Beef Weigh-in will be on Saturday February 1st from 9 am to 12pm at Lanesboro Sales Commission.

Local Events

Helping Hands Awards applications

Do you have an idea you’re passionate about but need help getting started? The 2025 Helping Hands Award is for 4-H youth who want to turn their ideas into projects! This award funds project ideas that are led by 4-H youth in partnership with supportive adults, local businesses, and non-profit organizations. Past awards have ranged from $300 to $2000.

Projects can focus on STEM, agriscience, healthy living, outdoor adventures, equity, and leadership. But don't hold back if your idea falls outside of these categories. Think about what sparks your interest and apply!

Here’s a project by the We Dig Bugs Entomology Club in Carver County that was selected in 2023.

Click here for information on program requirements, a list of 2024 projects, and how to apply. The 2025 application will be linked on this page and available to complete on December 13th. It must be filled out and submitted online. The application will close on February 14 at 11:59pm
