A Few Words From the Principal

It has been a busy week on the trail with lots of afterschool activities. We hope you are planning on joining us this weekend for the musical.

There is still one week left in February and this is a great opportunity for all of us to take advantage of National Acts of Kindness Month. Do something kind for someone else, say hello to someone you do not usually talk to, help someone out or even do something without someone asking. We have many conversations each day with our students about being kind to one another. This is a great opportunity for all of us to model this and make someone else's day as well as our own a little better.

PTA Volunteers & Upcoming Opportunities

We are currently looking for volunteers to join next year’s PTA Board! Several positions are available, including Teacher Appreciation, Secretary, Treasurer, and (new this year) At-Large Members. If you’re interested in getting involved and supporting our school community, we’d love to hear from you.

We are also seeking a parent (or group of parents) interested in organizing the 8th Grade Farewell. This event is run separately from the PTA, but we are happy to help get the ball rolling and facilitate the formation of a planning committee. In addition, there are $250 sponsorship opportunities available, which include having your logo placed on the back of the student designed farewell T-shirt.

Lastly, please see the attached Papa John’s Fundraiser flyer. A portion of every order placed between February 23–26 will be donated back to our school. An easy and delicious way to support our students!
