Monday, May 5th
- TSSEC Solo rehearsals before school and during 1st and 2nd period
- WW and Brass auditions continue during class, before and after school
- Letter Jackets passed out during class if ordered on March 6th
- 4:30-6:00PM Drumline Tryout Clinic
- Finish WW and Brass auditions
- 8 AM - 1 PM - Hosting Comal ISD Beginner Band Festival @DHS
- 4:30-6:00PM Front Ensemble Tryout Clinic - Note: this date is changed
- 6:30-7PM Band Booster Meeting
- Lehmann Administering AP Test in the afternoon
- 6:30PM Band Banquet Committee Meeting
- Lehmann Administering AP Test in the afternoon
- 7:30PM Powder Puff Football Game: Drumline and SLT perform, all other winds optional, meet at 6:30PM in band hall, wear state shirt and shorts, 9:30PM estimated dismissal
Saturday, May 10th

- 6PM-10PM Band Banquet
TCGC Solo and Ensemble Contest
The TCGC Solo and Ensemble Contest is Saturday, May 10th at New Braunfels HS. Please look for an email from Ms. Dillon mid-week with specifics.
Spring Concert
Our Spring Concert is Monday, May 12th at 6 pm in the DHS Auditorium. We are doing a joint concert with the Danville MS Band. The DHS Symphonic Band, Symphonic Winds, and Wind Ensemble will be performing. We will be wearing Sunday’s best - what you would wear to a wedding, banquet, etc.

7:40 pm - Call time for Symphonic Winds in band hall
8:00 pm - Call time for Wind Ensemble in band hall

Reminders
Students are not required to stay for other performances unless they want to.
Students may stay after school, but are responsible for their own dinner.
We will be wearing Sunday’s best -what you would wear to a wedding, banquet, etc.
Band Banquet Help Needed!
Wolf Band Army- We need YOUR help!
The banquet is this Saturday, and we still need quite a few more volunteers! Right now, we have only 1 volunteer for the food station during the first shift and none for the second. 😬 Shifts last just 1-1.5 hours. A little bit of your time will make a huge difference for this celebration of our students. If you can help, please sign up here. Thanks for helping make this event happen!
Band Banquet Reminders
Last committee meeting: Thursday at 6:30 at DHS. We will be loading everything into the trailer to transport to the venue. Please come help us if you are free! Many hands make light work
Band Banquet
Doors open at 5:30
Dinner & Banquet Start at 6:00
Followed by Student Dance and Giveaways until 10:00
Parents will be asked to excuse themselves after the student dance begins
On Saturday:
Please bring your banquet ticket with you to the event, printing or taking a screenshot of your ticket is recommended for efficient check-in. We will be scanning tickets at the door. If you do not have an PayK12 ticket (sponsored tickets, cash tickets, etc.) or can't locate yours, we will have an option to have it looked up as well.
New Braunfels Civic & Convention Center
We will provide a brochure of Downtown New Braunfels to those wanting to stroll the town while your kids enjoy their time.
We can't wait to see everyone dressed in their best to celebrate!

Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest
All students who advanced to the UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest will be attending the contest on May 25th. The performance schedule is listed below. Lunch will be provided by the district
Schedule for Monday, May 25th
5:15 am - Call time @ DHS and load percussion instruments on Rusty (eat breakfast before arriving or bring for the bus)
5:45 am - Leave for Hendrickson HS
7:45 am - Arrive at Hendricks HS
12:15 pm - Leave Hendrickson HS - stop for food on the way home (bring $, lunch provided by the district)
~3 pm - Parent pickup
