For the 2026-2027, West Seneca's K-5 schools will be using a cycle schedule rather than a Monday through Friday schedule. The cycle schedule will have days represent by numbers -- Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, and Day 5. This will allow us to keep our daily schedule on track when we have days off. This way students will not miss out on specials like Art, Music, Phys Ed, and Library. Please see the daily cycle schedule here. (If and when we have a snow day, the calendar will adjust for the missed day.)

Please be patient this week with Transportation!!!

  • During the first two weeks of school, as children and bus drivers learn their new routes and routines, things always move more slowly.
  • "Slow and Steady" wins the race when it comes to starting the school year off! Thank you!

Safety is our Top Priority

In order to make the process of drop off and pick run smoothly, safely, and quickly, please stay in your car. Staff is available to help.

Drop Off

  • Student drop-off in the morning will occur in the designated CAR LOOP (Door 19) on the side of the building at 9:00am. Please remain in your car during drop off as staff is available to direct students into the building and to their classrooms. Please remember to stay in the car lane unless otherwise instructed.

  • Do not enter the bus loop for any reason.

  • Door 19 will close at 9:10. If the door is no longer open, please park and walk your child to the office (Door 21).

Afternoon Dismissal Procedures

  • Please be sure to send in a note if you are picking up. You may send in a “standing note” if you have a set pick-up schedule or have opted out of district transportation.

  • Your car tag must be displayed on your dashboard.

  • Staff will take your car tag number when you are curbside. Your child's number will be called to walk out to your car.

  • There will be no parent pick-up from the Main Office after 3:00pm. Please do not try to avoid the pick-up line by coming into the office as our office staff is busy preparing for dismissal.

Student and staff safety are our first priority during arrival and dismissal. Please be patient and follow directions for the wellbeing of our school community.
