Walden Celebrates Veterans Day Walden Celebrates Veterans Day

zoom_out_map
We are so blessed at Walden to be able to present our students with the opportunity to celebrate and honor the many veterans in our community for their service to this great country. Thank you to all the veterans and their families who came and had breakfast with us this past Wednesday morning. Students, under the direction of Mr. Mike, were able to perform a couple songs for the veterans and then present them with some homemade cards thanking them for their service.

After so much success last year, the PTA is bringing back their Auction Night for a second year! Please mark your calendars now for November 10th. Dinner will be served again and there will be a combination of silent and live auction items.

We are accepting donations now! If you, or someone close to you, owns a business that would like to donate, please let us know! (Call the front office at 802-563-3000)

If you're wondering, "what's it for?" We are happy to announce that we are fundraising for a new playground structure! Our goal is to raise money to support the purchase of new playground equipment so that our kids can get the best possible playground upgrade!
