In addition to teaching in the classroom, collectively we have enjoyed our experiences working with students in the following extra curricular/coaching positions: Ice Hockey, Basketball, Football, Field Hockey, Student Council, Student Government, Chorus, Band, and Show Choir.

We all come from large families with strong family core values. We are very proud parents who are all blessed with darling daughters. Dillon has a 2 year old daughter, Sean has two daughters ages 19 and 21, and Christine has three daughters ages 15, 31, and 33.

CLASS TAG

We are excited to announce that we are using the Class Tag program for our communications districtwide this year. The goal in using this program is to provide clear, consistent communication regarding all things for your students in one place, as opposed to having multiple apps for each of your student's classes and activities.

There are several important things you need to know about the Class Tag program in order to make it a convenient and successful experience.

  • Class Tag is set up and ready for your use as it is synced with our Aspen information system. All of your student's information will be routinely updated. Please inform the school of any changes in your personal information.

  • Have you used Class Tag before as an Elementary Parent? As in years past, you do not need to be invited to your student's classroom(s) any longer. You will be able to login with your email and password.

Please note: the current information listed in Aspen will be the contact information that is used to contact you through the Class Tag platform. Please take a moment to log into your Aspen parent portal to make sure the information listed for you is current, including your email and mobile phone number. This information can be viewed and updated by completing an updated emergency contact card by following these simple instructions. This step will also ensure that the school has the most up to date information for you and your students: https://carver.org/new-aspen-parent-guardian-annual-updates/

  • You can log into Classtag.com by signing in - if you have already set up an account you can sign in with your created password. When logging into Class Tag for the first time please select “SIGN IN” and use the email address or phone number listed in for you in your student’s Aspen account. This will ensure that the information for your student is linked to your parent account. If you need a password, please select “forget password” at the bottom and this will reset your password securely for you to log in.

  • Once in Class Tag be sure to review your account settings:

    • Home Language: By selecting your preferred home language any communications through Class Tag will be translated into your preferred language. You can also communicate using your home language which will auto-translate to the selected language of the person you are communicating with.

    • Phone Number: Please be sure your best number of contact is listed in Class Tag so we are sure to communicate with you via telephone in case of school cancellations, etc. (see above regarding updating information)

    • Communication Preferences: There are a number of ways you can be contacted through Class Tag and you can select your preferred method of contact; by email, text message, in the app, or you can opt out of communications altogether.

      • App Links: Apple / iOS: https://apple.co/2rLaibd Android: https://goo.gl/Bu5dWT

  • Student Use: Currently students will be able to receive messages / announcements sent through Class Tag in their student email accounts and will be able to connect with Teachers / Advisors / Coaches through ClassTag.com or the Class Tag App.

    • Students do not have the ability to view the announcement home screens for classrooms like parent/guardians are able to. We are working with Class Tag to help them establish such a view for Middle High School students and are hopeful our students will have more access in the future.

    • When logging in, students should sign in through "google" and use their school email accounts to access Class Tag.

We look forward to a great year and this new tool to connect us all in one convenient place. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through any stumbling blocks to make this an efficient and convenient system for all. We encourage you to please reach out to our main office if you have any questions on accessing your Class Tag account or updating your student's information in our Aspen information system.

Student Schedules and ASPEN

Student schedules are updated and can be accessed through the ASPEN student information system. If students have any questions or concerns with their schedule, they can reach out to their guidance counselor. The ASPEN program has a grading system that allows students and parents/guardians access to all grading information online on a regular basis as well as report cards and teacher pages. Teachers are encouraged to keep their gradebook updated bi-weekly. Parents and students will use the same login information from the previous school year; however, if you have misplaced your password, please contact Amy Gould goulda@carver.org or Michelle Nickerson nickersonm@carver.org for assistance.
