Tiger Talk
12/17/24
Dear WCHE Families,
As we continue to work together toward the success of all our students, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each of you for your ongoing partnership with our school. Your support plays a crucial role in helping us provide the best academic, social, and emotional growth for your children.
At WCHE, we believe in the power of collaboration between home and school, and it’s through this partnership that we are able to foster a positive, nurturing environment for our students. Your dedication to your child's education and well-being makes a profound impact, and we are grateful for the trust and involvement you show in their learning journey.
Together, we are building not only strong academic foundations but also the social and emotional skills that will help our students succeed both in and outside the classroom. Thank you for being such an integral part of our school community. We are excited to continue this journey with you and your child.
As we approach the holiday break, I wish you all a joyful and restful time with family and friends. We look forward to seeing each of you in the new year and continuing our work together in 2025!
Warm regards,
Ms. Russ
We are excited to announce a partnership with the Austin Spurs to enhance our student attendance.
Any student who has no more than two absences during the first nine weeks of school received a complimentary ticket to an Austin Spurs basketball game of his/her choice.
Every day that students attend school is vital and contributes significantly to their success. If your child has earned a free ticket, it was sent home last week. Please check backpacks for a QR code that provides instructions on how to redeem the ticket. If you have multiple children who received free tickets, please contact Rebecca Shaffer at rshaffer@spurs.com for guidance on redeeming more than one ticket.
This super incentive will continue for the second 9 weeks, so keep up the great work!
