HSS Family Newsletter
March 15, 2025

I am hoping to see many of you this week for parent/teacher conferences. Send me an email and let me know if you'd like me at attend your conference.
Both the book fair and Reading Week were full of joy and great books. The book fair takes a lot of volunteers so thank you to everyone who helped. It looked like an actual book store and the students loved it. One of our students referred to it as the 'Book Fairy' and the staff has been chuckling about it every since.
During reading week the students had a chance to read in the 'rainforest', take a picture of themselves with book wings, hear a read aloud from a guest reader (a teacher from another grade), and visit the SAU to hear from a famous children's author and illustrator. Thank you to Katrina Hill, our librarian, and the entire reading week committee!

Safety Reminders
Here are a few reminders to keep our morning drop off safe.
1) Please remember that you can only use the express drop off loop if your child is ready to get out of the car.
2) We can not back up the road and block Evans drive. If the express lane backs up, you will need to continue down Hanover Street, enter the parking lot, and park your car. You can also drive around in a loop if you prefer.
3) If you arrive after 8:00, park in the lot and do not stop in the road to let your child out.
Thank you from the Staff at HSS
4th Grade Parents
Here is a link to the middle school's newsletter so that you can see what happens this time of year at LMS. Also, in case your child has any questions, we wanted to let you know that we have added a free feminine product dispenser in the 4th grade girls' bathroom.
