Hendrickson High School
Message from Principal Grebb:
April showers bring May flowers. I’m glad to see that rain is still possible in Central Texas. I know it caused some delays this morning, so please keep that in mind when April showers arrive and give yourself some extra time to get around town.
Congratulations to the UIL Academic Team for winning their sixth straight district title! I am so proud of the coaches and students for all of their hard work and continued excellence.
Speaking of academics, we have officially entered testing season. We have five EOC STAAR tests scheduled during the month of April, all of which are graduation requirements. It is very important that students do their best on these exams. We have completed our preparation and are now moving into final reviews, our goal is for students to perform at the Masters level.
Please mark your calendars for the upcoming EOC STAAR tests:
April 14: English I/II
April 21: U.S. History/Biology
April 28: Algebra I
Enjoy the three-day weekend!

PFISD District Optimization
Subject: District Optimization Update & Community Meeting Resources
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you to those who attended our recent Community Meetings before Spring Break. We appreciate your time, engagement, and thoughtful input.
If you were unable to attend, the district has posted presentation videos in multiple languages, along with additional information, on the District Optimization webpage: https://www.pfisd.net/about-us/district-optimization. You will also find an FAQ on the webpage that is regularly updated based on community questions and feedback.
Thank you to everyone who has already shared feedback on the scenarios. If you have not yet participated, we encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the survey and share your thoughts on all scenarios—not just those that may directly impact your family: https://tejoin.com/participate/336499412.
Your feedback is essential as we work toward a district-wide solution to a district-wide challenge.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
Sincerely,
Michael Grebb
