Bulldog Bulletin

Greetings Heartland Families!

I hope everyone has been able to enjoy the warmer weather this weekend. Unfortunately, it looks like rain this week. 😞

On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of Heartland, THANK YOU to all of our Veteran families and for joining us last week for our Veterans Day program. It was wonderful!

Just a few reminders for next week---

1. Family Feast for Tuesday/Thursday preschool, 2nd and 4th grade will be held Thursday, November 20th. RSVP forms for our feast were due last Friday.
Please make sure you have had your ID scanned prior to this Thursday to save you time when you arrive. ID will be required this day regardless.
2. Forms for early dismissal were sent home a few weeks ago, please make sure to return those to your child's teacher as soon as possible.
3. Shhh! It's a secret! Last week we emailed 4th and 5th grade parents permission slips for a special reward we are planning for our 4th and 5th graders on November 25th. Please make sure to fill that Google document out by this Friday. K-3 will also be getting a surprise on November 25th. It does not require a permission slip, but we want parents to know that all K-5 students will get to participate in some type of surprise this day.

Please make sure if your student is dropped off that they are in their classroom by 7:30AM. If your child is dropped off in the morning and they like to get breakfast, please remind them to get breakfast and go straight to class before the 2nd bell. Anything after the second bell/7:30AM will be counted tardy. This policy is listed in our student handbook which can be found at the link at the end of this newsletter.
