Hello FUSD Staff and Community,
Across our district – in classrooms, offices and meeting spaces – this is a season for planning. It begins with reflecting on success and challenges throughout the year, then identifying the practices we wish to continue and those we can improve upon. In our Board meetings, staff meetings, parent/guardian groups, School Site Councils, committee meetings and so many other forums, we search for common understanding, and from there we build. Our educational community grows stronger through our shared decision-making and our pursuit of common goals.
If you are interested in being in the rooms where much of this important work happens, check out our committees page for upcoming meetings and open positions, view our Board of Education meeting schedules and agendas, and reach out to your school site for other engagement opportunities.
Next week many sites will be celebrating the joy and empowerment reading brings to our lives. I look forward to joining our emerging and seasoned readers in getting lost in a good book.
Centerville Junior High hosted its International Faire this week.
Last week Robertson High School was named a 2023 Model Continuation High School. Congratulations to the Robertson community, staff, and students!

2023-24 New Student Enrollment Open Now
Transitional kindergarten (TK), kindergarten, sibling priority and other new student enrollment for the 2023-24 school year is open now at www.fremont.k12.ca.us/enrollment.
Eligibility for transitional kindergarten is expanding: children who will be 5 years old between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024 can enroll in this free program for 2023-24 to get a head start in school and build their social, communication and independence skills.
If your student is currently attending an FUSD school in grades TK-11, there is no need to re-enroll.
Get Involved in FUSD
We are currently recruiting representatives to serve on various committees. Whether you're a parent, alumni, student, teacher, or simply someone who cares about the future of Fremont, you can help support FUSD and our students by serving on a committee. Learn more.
Thank you all for your continued support for our students, staff and schools.
Sincerely,
CJ Cammack
